Abstract contemporary landscape, 36x36”
Oil on stretched canvas. Ships on stretcher bars ready to hang.
This piece was inspired by a larger painting I did last year. I worked on them together using a similar color palette, while I worked on smoother blends on the larger piece, this one I focused on leaving more distinct lines between layers.
There are many under layers that peek through the surface in little moments, which draw the eye in, while the focus is still in subtle, intentional brush strokes.
The richness in color is both bold and neutral enough to capture the attention in any room.
