Shipping + Returns

U.S. Deliveries

I ship mostly with UPS, and all parcels are securely packaged and insured in the event that any damages may occur during transit.

*UPS has a policy that requests for the recipient to keep all bubble wrapping and boxing materials if the parcel does arrive damaged so they can account for the fact that I packaged it correctly. They require 2 inches of bubblewrap around the paintings and snugly packaged in the boxes. I follow their guidelines, and ask that you keep all materials in the event that a package arrives damaged otherwise they will not process a claim.

Shipments of large paintings

All large paintings over 36x36" ship rolled, and need to be arranged to be re-stretched by your local framer upon arrival. I suggest making these arrangements right away even before the painting has arrived to get in the framer's line up. I also suggest taking the painting directly to the framer's for the first opening of the package. It takes me a long time to package them up properly and I wouldn't want you to try to re-roll the painting and get any creases accidentally in the canvas.

*Shipping these large paintings rolled saves on shipping expenses and protects the artwork best. Larger paintings, if shipped on their stretcher bars, need to be shipped in a crate, which is significantly more expensive, but can be arranged if you prefer this option for an additional fee. A separate invoice can be sent for the crate shipping, which will be $700 or more depending on which service we use for the delivery, how large the painting is, and where it will be going. Delivery Costs

All deliveries in the U.S. are complimentary.

All outside the U.S. costs are as follows:

Canada: starts at $55 for 8x8" paintings, and can go up from there based on the size of painting you are purchasing

Everywhere else: starts at $65 and can go up from there depending on the size of the painting you are purchasing. 

*All VAT and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer, including any other international fees that may apply.

Delivery Time

If the piece is ready to ship, I try to get it out within the week. However, please allow for 7-14 days for shipments to be delivered. Because my process as an artist often involves painting over works, I often don't sign and varnish a piece until it sells, so need to allow time for that to take place and dry before it can be boxed up. 

*If there are special requests or changes, it could extend the shipping time frame.

Returns 

 

I no longer accept returns on any artworks especially those which are commissioned, made to order or personalized.

The reason being that each piece is carefully wrapped and packaged safely, which is difficult to replicate, and most likely a painting would be damaged in the process or in transit for a return.

Refunds + Exchanges

Refunds are only issued if you had a change of mind on a piece and it hasn't shipped out yet. You would need to notify me within 24 hours of when the order was placed, and if the item has not already been shipped, then a refund can be made.

If you prefer to exchange a piece that was purchased, but hasn't shipped yet, please contact me within 24 hours before the item is shipped, and another piece can be chosen and shipped in place of the original order.

Damaged or Lost in transit artworks

In the event that your delivery is damaged or lost in transit then a full refund will be given once the proof is provided of the situation, if the item cannot be replaced/repaired.

For damaged artworks - please keep all packaging and any damaged items as evidence until the claim is resolved. Please also take photographs of any damage as evidence.

Refunds cannot be given for any loss or damage that occurs to your delivery if it was left with a neighbor or in a safe place. All works over $1,000 must be signed for upon delivery in the U.S with UPS.

For lost artworks - Once the shipping/delivery company have confirmed and accepted responsibility of a loss a refund can be made.

All Artworks are insured against loss/damage whilst in transit.
