This floral composition reminds me of the "mid-life" point for the flowers, and how inevitably at this stage when the petals are opening beautifully my cat, Harvey, hops on the counter and starts eating them. I wake up to stems on the table and half eaten petals slowly falling to their demise. But I still find the arrangements in this stage quite beautiful. It has become part of our house flower-routine, so it’s nice to capture these moments of our furry friends.
